Enjoy Water Adventures at The Reef

Dave and Alan from White Sands Water Sports are pros when it comes to showing you a good time in and on the water. Providing a variety of water based activities for the beginner to the seasoned pro, White Sand staff are always on hand to offer advice and assistance to those looking to try their hand at one of the many activities on offer.

Their activities include:

• Sea Hammocks
• Surfing

Other Water Sport activities on the island include Snorkeling and Fishing.

Power Snorkeling

This is a 1 hour guided snorkeling excursion using electric powered DPV’s (Dive propulsion vehicles), guests are taken by bus to a secluded beach about ¾ a mile away where we enter the water and gently glide back down the coast stopping at the best snorkeling spots and fish holes in the area. A glass of chilled rum or fruit punch awaits guests back at the resort where we chat about the exiting sea creatures we have seen, nurse sharks, rays and turtles are a common sight making this trip a truly different & exiting way to view the undersea world!

The cost is CI$32.00 (US$40) per person and includes transportation, all snorkeling equipment, safety vest and the DPV.

Morning Paddle

This is a one hour guided kayak tour exploring the beautiful and secluded East end coastline. The trip departs at 9.30am right from our resort and heads off at a leisurely pace paddling the blue tranquil waters of the Caribbean Sea. After about half an hour we head towards the barrier reef and ride the gentle current back towards the resort. On the way we stop off at a sandbar to stretch our legs and look for the many friendly stingrays that frequent the area. The tour can be as easy or as vigorous as the guests prefer but it’s certainly a great way to start any day in paradise.

The cost is CI$16.00 (US$20.00) per person.
